Averon Shoes started as a two-person repair bench on Smith Street. Resoling other people's shoes taught us exactly which ones were built to last — and which fell apart after one Melbourne winter. So we started stocking only the makers whose work came back to us in good shape.

We buy direct from the workshops that make our shoes. Every pair ships with its maker's card and a 12-month warranty.
Built to be repaired
Welted construction where it counts, so a worn sole is a $90 fix rather than a landfill decision.
